about

"Interesting," The sophomore release from Here, There, and Space is a collaboration between Neil McCarthy (sax, effects) and John Miller (technology, synthesizer, effects and arrangement.) The songs were composed by Neil and brought to life by John.

This release marks the beginning of a "3x3" trilogy (three albums with three tracks each), and covers topics as varied as global warming, isolation, and mental health. The songs feature jazz, electronic, and rock, all with an avant-garde flavor. If one were to describe this work in one word, it might be "electro-jazz."

Once again, Here, There, and Space is bridging genres, adding jazz and rock improvisation to songs that might be reminiscent of almost ambient soundscapes. Some compare the compositions to John Cage, although not in an atonal style.

Together, they form "Here, There, and Space". ... more
